Job summary

Host Broadcast Services (HBS) in London is seeking an experienced Editor (Video) to deliver compelling content for global rights-holders and audiences. You will craft promos, features and short-form clips, shaping the visual identity and storytelling for Project B across broadcast and digital platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in creative editing (sports preferred), strong storytelling and advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills (Premiere Pro & After Effects).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in creative editing, preferably in sports or documentary contexts.
• Strong storytelling instincts and visual creativity.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience working on international sports events or multi-camera broadcast environments is advantageous.

We're Hiring: Editor (Video) – Delivering content to global rights-holders and audiences worldwide.

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for sport? At HBS, the Editor plays a central role in the Non-Live Production team responsible for creative content for broadcast and digital platforms for Project B.
This position requires a high level of creative autonomy and editorial judgement, contributing to the visual identity and storytelling.
The Editor will work closely with (Senior) Producers & Junior Producers, to deliver high-impact content across multiple formats — from promos to short-form features and highlight clips — aligned with HBS's production standards.
Please note, this role requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Central London and international travel (including long-term trips).

What You'll Do:

• Edit a wide range of content including promos, features, highlights & short-form social clips, as well as signature storytelling pieces
• Contribute to the visual identity and editorial directionfor Project Bdeliverables
• Deliver creatively engaging edits, designs and templates using Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects for motion design and visual treatments.
• Collaborate with producers, editorsand designers to ensure top-tier storytelling across platforms

What makes a successful candidate:

• 5+ years’ experience in creative editing (sports or documentary preferred)
• Strong storytelling instincts and visual creativity
• High understanding of basketball as a sport and its culture.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, especially Premiere Pro & After Effects
• Experience working on international sports events or in multi-camera broadcast environments is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of file-based workflows and remote collaboration tools is beneficial.
• Motivated, committed, and highly reliable under tight deadline
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
