Job description

Digital Triangle is a creative production company specialising in branded video, motion graphics, and photography. We take care of the production process from start to finish, getting our clients better content, faster. We are a small, ambitious, multi-disciplined team driven by a passion for the craft and a desire to make the world of production much simpler.

We are looking for a Video Editor who is keen to work within a small, agile in‑house creative team - taking ownership of projects and is ready to grow with us. You will be working on a wide range of projects and will be key in producing outputs that you, and our clients, will be truly proud of. If you are driven, creative to the core and want to be part of a tight‑knit team then you will be right at home.

From pre to post‑production, you must be willing to get involved with all stages of the process while working closely with the rest of the team and the end client. We are a small core team and joining us means becoming an integral part of the company - we move fast, produce fast and have a lot of fun along the way.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Managing multiple projects at any one time and ensuring briefs and deadlines are met with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Creative Input: We are a small team and make decisions together - we want you to act as a voice during all stages of production to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Data Wrangling: Handling all the data we create with a methodical approach. From ingesting, backing up and maintaining our footage archive.
  • Colour & Sound: Ensuring all outputs have been colour matched, corrected and graded as well as adding production music and SFX as required.
  • Final Delivery: Produce work that everyone can be proud of, consistently adding creative flair to projects, being mindful of distribution and formats.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep an eye on current and upcoming trends to ensure our content is working as hard as it can for our clients.
Candidate Profile
  • Amazing editing skills and an interest for all things video
  • 3+ years experience in working in a similar role (agency, freelance, post‑house etc.)
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to thrive in fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented settings
  • A genuine passion for filmmaking and the creative industries
  • Ability to commute to work in our studio in Leith, Edinburgh
Required Skills
  • Expert in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere Pro)
  • Solid experience of editing and delivering branded content
  • Strong colour matching, correction & grading skills
  • An ear for music and the ability to select and edit to different production music
  • Autonomously managing post‑production and creative direction
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy taking the lead on projects
Flexible Working

We will always aim to be as flexible as possible with working hours, days, locations etc, but due to the nature of some of our jobs there will be times where we need to be in the studio, away on location or sometimes work outside of normal hours. This role will predominantly be studio based with the potential to travel within the UK and abroad.

8 Shore, Leith - right on the waterfront in the centre of Edinburgh’s most creative community.

Salary & Benefits
  • Expected Start Date: March/April 2026
  • Starting Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (Salary is DOE, which can increase based on performance and time within the team.)
  • 5% company contributions to workplace pension scheme
How to Apply

Email us at jobs@digitaltriangle.co.uk telling us why you would be great for this position. Also send a link to some of your most recent work you are proud of and let us know what your role was in producing it (we understand that you don’t always have control of all aspects) - if you don't do either of these things your chances of being shortlisted are very slim.

Application Process

There is no hard deadline for applications – we will remain open until we have a strong shortlist to work from so if you are thinking of applying then please do it as soon as you can so as not to miss out.

Once a shortlist has been selected we will invite them to an in‑person interview at our studio in Leith. As part of this stage of the process we will provide some sample footage, a short brief and will ask you to produce a short edit for us to review ahead of the interview.

We will endeavour to get back to everyone who applies either way.
