Job summary

ProfileTree Belfast is seeking a Senior Videographer & Editor to take ownership of video projects from discovery through to final delivery. The role combines hands-on filming and editing with leadership in pre-production and client conversations.

You will plan and execute shoots, direct teams, and produce high-quality content for client campaigns and ProfileTree’s marketing. Regular travel to shoots is required, with an office base in Belfast.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in videography & editing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of video work, including projects you have led.
• Experience managing video projects from concept through to final delivery.
• Confidence leading client meetings and discussing creative ideas, objectives and project requirements.

Responsibilities

ProfileTree is an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Belfast. We help organisations across the UK and Ireland generate leads and sales through strategic websites, SEO and digital content.

We are looking for a Senior Videographer & Editor to take a leading role in the planning, production and delivery of video content for client projects and ProfileTree's own marketing.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced videographer and editor who can take ownership of projects, lead client conversations and guide work from the first discovery meeting through to final delivery. You will also help identify where video could support a client's wider marketing activity and turn those opportunities into clear, practical projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Plan, film and edit video content for client projects and internal marketing
• Lead client discovery and pre-production conversations to understand business goals, audiences and content requirements
• Identify where video could support a client's marketing activity and recommend suitable formats, concepts and project ideas
• Develop briefs, creative concepts, scripts, storyboards and production plans
• Manage projects from initial discussion through scheduling, filming, editing, feedback and final delivery
• Lead on-location and studio shoots, including cameras, lighting, audio, contributors and production logistics
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients throughout projects, communicating clearly and guiding creative decisions
• Edit and finish content to a high standard, including colour grading, audio, motion graphics and formatting for different platforms
• Review work and provide practical feedback to other members of the Videography & Editing team
• Help maintain production standards, file management and efficient working processes across the team
• Work with the wider digital team to consider how video supports websites, social media, advertising and wider campaigns
• Contribute to decisions around equipment, software and production processes where appropriate

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in videography & editing
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of video work, including projects you have led
• Experience managing video projects from concept through to final delivery
• Confidence leading client meetings and discussing creative ideas, objectives and project requirements
• Ability to recognise where video could support a client's goals and turn that into a clear production approach
• Strong knowledge of professional cameras, lighting and audio equipment
• Strong editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or comparable software
• Experience with colour grading, audio editing and preparing content for different platforms
• Confidence leading shoots and coordinating contributors, talent or crew where required
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Full UK Driving licence and access to a private vehicle to transport required equipment to shoots

Desirable

• Experience creating video for digital marketing campaigns, websites, paid advertising and social media
• Agency, production company or other multi-client experience
• Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced videographers or editors
• Motion graphics, animation, photography or design skills
• Experience using AI-assisted production or editing tools

This is a senior hands-on role, so you will still be filming and editing regularly while taking greater responsibility for client discovery, creative direction, project planning and the standard of work delivered by the team.
