Job description

About the Role

We're looking for someone who brings together two key strengths: strong video editing and production knowledge, alongside a deep understanding of social media content, trends and what makes videos perform.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can manage editors, oversee production, contribute creative ideas and ensure we consistently deliver high-quality content across multiple brands.

You’ll work closely with our marketing managers, social media team, videographers and editors, with regular time spent in our London office supporting shoots and collaborating with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing Management
  • Own the video production pipeline across all brands, from editing handoff through delivery.
  • Manage a team of remote video editors, assigning work, setting deadlines and tracking progress.
  • Review edits, provide clear feedback and maintain high production standards.
  • Oversee short‑form content, long‑form videos, podcasts, interviews, and promotional content.
  • Ensure videos follow the approved briefs, references and brand guidelines.
  • Identify delays, resolve production issues and hold editors accountable for deadlines and quality.
Creative Direction & Social Media
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, video formats, hooks, storytelling techniques and platform best practices.
  • Understand what makes content engaging and how to adapt it for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.
  • Work with marketing managers and social media teams to develop video concepts and editing directions.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose long‑form content into high‑performing short‑form clips.
  • Bring creative ideas and improvements to our video production process.
Shoots & Collaboration
  • Attend and assist with shoots in our London office and other locations when required.
  • Work with marketing managers and videographers to ensure footage meets the editing requirements.
  • Support production planning, shot direction and creative execution.
  • Maintain an organised editing pipeline with clear visibility of deadlines, progress and deliverables.
Experience & Skills Required
  • 3+ years of experience in video editing, video production or content production management.
  • Strong technical understanding of video editing, including pacing, storytelling, sound design, colour grading, motion graphics and post‑production workflows.
  • Hands‑on experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, short‑form video formats and platform‑specific content.
  • Experience managing video editors, freelancers or creative production workflows.
  • Ability to review edits critically and provide clear, actionable feedback.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with different departments.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems without constant supervision.
Nice to Have
  • Experience producing content for finance, trading or fintech brands.
  • Experience with ClickUp, Frame.io or similar production management tools.
  • Experience coordinating or directing shoots.
  • Understanding of YouTube content strategy, audience retention and video performance metrics.
  • - Location: London, UK
  • - Working Arrangement: Hybrid, with regular attendance at our London office and shoots
