Calo is a fast-growing, international, health-tech brand revolutionising how people eat. After dominating the GCC with our personalised meal plans, we’re now bringing our proven model to the UK – and we’re looking for a social-first, content creator to help tell our story in a fresh, bold way.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making content that resonates with different audiences. We are hiring on an initial 6 month basis with the opportunity to turn permanent and be a foundational part of a growing team.

About Calo

Calo is on a mission to make healthy easy. Our app delivers highly personalised, chef-crafted meals to busy individuals, built through a unique combination of nutritional science, cutting-edge tech, and top-tier culinary expertise.

Since launching in 2019, we’ve expanded to five countries, last year we delivered ten million meals, and launched Grab & Go café concepts. In March we launched in the UK, as our first Western market and we are thinking big.

About the Role

As our content creator, you will -

  • Create a consistent drumbeat of short-form, social-first content for both paid and organic channels.
  • Own the entire creative process – from ideation to shoot to final edit.
  • Collaborate with a creative marketing team to build on ideas and bring them to life.
  • Have your finger on the pulse - proactively suggest content to capitalise on social trends and cultural moments
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, aligns to our mission and audience, and is optimised for the channel it runs on.
  • Thrive with autonomy and ambiguity. No two days are the same at Calo. We are building something special and are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve our mission.
  • Push us to our creative limits as we tell our story and build a brand that inspires change
  • Be passionate about health, food and nutrition

Must-Have Experience:

A strong portfolio of always-on social video content

Deep understanding of cultural movements, consumer behaviour, and how to connect emotionally and commercially.

Broad multi-platform knowledge - from Instagram to TikTok to Reddit and everything in-between.

Proven success developing social-first campaigns that drive both engagement and conversions.

Comfortable both behind and in front of camera

Strong video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)

  • Hybrid working – Home/SW6 6AW, with Mondays and Wednesdays being mandatory office days as well as any filming requirements. .
  • Office employees may work remotely from an international location for up to three weeks per year (time zone dependent, must be taken in full weeks).
  • Cash bonus if you complete 50 workouts in a quarter.
