Job summary

Archway Learning Trust is seeking a Vice Principal in Nottingham to provide high-impact, academy-wide leadership. You will drive improvements through the Academy Improvement Plan, build leadership capacity and model consistent practices across curriculum, teaching, behaviour, and inclusion.

You will deputise for the Principal and take significant ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring a climate conducive to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide academy-wide leadership to improve quality and consistency of provision.
• Drive the Academy Improvement Plan implementation in a consistent, effective and sustainable manner.
• Build leadership and staff capacity to embed high-quality practice across the Academy.

As a Vice Principal, you will;

• Providehigh-impact, academy-wide leadership that improves the quality and consistencyof provision.
• Drive theconsistent, effective and sustainable implementation of the AcademyImprovement Plan.
• Build leadership and staff capacityso high-quality practice isembedded, sustained and owned acrossthe Academy.
• Deputise for the Principal and take significant ownership of the Academy’s day-to-day operationalleadership.
• Model and secureconsistent implementation of Academyexpectations to strengthen practice and the climate for learning.
• Use performance data, quality-assurance evidenceand professional judgement toevaluate provision and driveimprovement.
• Foster a professional culture of integrity,continuous learning and collectiveresponsibility for improvement.

• Apply expertise in curriculum, teaching,assessment, inclusion, behaviour, SEND and personal development so all students belong and flourish.

• Lead evidence-informed professional learning acrosscurriculum, teaching, behaviour and inclusion.

• Champion an Academy culture of ambition, equity, inclusionand high expectations for all students.
