Job summary

The Vicar of St Giles’ Church Rowley Regis will also serve as chaplain at St Michael’s Church of England High School, linking parish life with school community. The post includes Oversight Minister duties for the Rowley Regis, Blackheath and Rounds Green area, and a focus on mission, discipleship and outreach within the local community.

Candidates should be ordained in the Church of England (or in communion) with at least three years’ ministry and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Ordained in the Church of England or a church in communion with it.
• At least three years ordained ministry.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Office holder under Common Tenure; Regulations apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a shared vision for mission and outreach.
• Deepen discipleship and encourage the congregation.
• Serve as Oversight Minister for Rowley Regis, Blackheath and Rounds Green.
• Provide chaplaincy at St Michael’s Church of England High School (one day per week).
• Engage ecumenical collaboration and build relationships with faith communities.
