Diocese of Lichfield invites applications for a servant-hearted Vicar to lead two parishes in Shropshire and shape gospel-centered ministry for growth and community impact. The role requires faithful preaching, spiritual leadership, pastoral care and missional direction.

We seek a candidate with vision for community engagement, a warm pastoral approach and the ability to nurture authentic Anglican worship within a diverse church family in the Diocese of Lichfield.

Qualifications

• All applicants should normally have 3 years experience in the Church of England or another Anglican church in the British Isles.

Our Benefice seeks to share the love of Jesus Christ through Bible-centred teaching, worship, service, pastoral care, evangelism and community presence.

Our parishes are located in Shropshire. Lilleshall is a quiet village just north of Muxton, which is within the boundary of Telford. St Michael’s is a beautiful medieval church and St John’s a modern multi-purpose community building.

We are a diverse family of believers, within the Evangelical tradition, who value both authentic Anglican worship andcontemporary, family-focused church life. The twoparishes work closely together, sharing ministry,
leadership and pastoral care while maintaining their owndistinct identities. We adopt a traditional stance on issuesof living in love and faith.

We are looking for a servant-hearted Vicar, with a vision for church growth and community engagement, who will faithfully preach the gospel and provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care and missional direction.
