Job summary

Nairn House Care Home in Enfield, part of Bupa, is hiring a Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator on a perm contract (30 hours/week) with alternate weekends. The role focuses on creating vibrant activities that improve residents’ wellbeing, including arts, baking, book clubs, and social events.

You will work with residents and care teams to plan tailored activities, manage a budget, and help run people-centered programs that enhance independence and joy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to create engaging activities.
• Comfort with coordinating with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
• Organising birthday surprises for our residents
• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
• Organising one to ones with our residents, this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or just a cup of tea and a chat
• Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
