British Transport Police have the opportunity for a Vetting Officer to join the Professional Standards Department on a Fixed Term Contract. As a Vetting Officer with BTP, you will provide a thorough and risk-focused vetting service, assessing the suitability of police officers, staff, contractors and partners in line with Force Vetting Policy, ensuring all decisions support the safety, security and integrity of the organisation. This role is offered as an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to be extended subject to review.

Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Management Vetting (MV) and Security Check (SC) Clearance (5 years minimum UK residency required), including a full background and financial disclosure. For more information and Top Tips, please see attached document.
