Job description

We are recruiting several part-time positions to join the School of Veterinary Medicine and support our academic team deliver practical sessions such as clinical skills and animal handling teaching. The roles may also involve supporting teaching and educational activities at external or off-site locations. Successful candidates may also be involved in student selection events, student assessments, and preparing and supporting students on their placements.
These posts are to support teaching during Semester 1 (October-December 2026). Applicants should consider their availability during this period, as we would ideally be looking for individuals who can offer a half or full day per week across several weeks of the semester.

Applicants must be a registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) (or eligible to register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). You must have experience of working within a clinical veterinary setting and knowledge of current UK veterinary practice.

No previous teaching experience is required, just a passion for veterinary medicine, veterinary education, and support of our students.
