Job summary

Arun Veterinary Group – Cats Whiskers / Worthing is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) to join our Worthing clinics. You’ll provide high-quality GP care, work across two sites, and collaborate with our referral and emergency teams to deliver personalised care.

As a veterinary surgeon with an interest in general practice, you will be based at our two clinics in Worthing. We work collaboratively with our other Hospitals based in Storrington and Chichester and our branches, night teams at South Downs Emergency Vets to deliver exceptional, personalised care to our patients 24/7, and also with our referral team, South Downs Veterinary Referrals to support referral level cases for Advanced Practitioners. The interior design in our clinics provides a warm, comforting, home-from-home feeling. It’s hard to put into words, but you’ll feel the difference as soon as you walk through the door.

About you

You’ll be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS). You’ll have at least 3+ years GP practical experience within the UK. You will be an experienced all-rounder branch Vet, be able to do sole charge, routine procedures and dentals. We are committed to developing vets with an enthusiastic and passionate approach to enhancing their skills.

Rota

4-day week (2 days at each site), 10 hour working shifts (various shift times between 7.30am-7.30pm), totalling 40 hours. 1 hour lunch break. Equal rota (1 in 6) for weekends and bank holidays. 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked.

£45,000 to £65,000+ pa depending on level of experience/certificates/AP status
