Job summary

Kingswood Vets in Woking is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our two-site practice. You’ll work a balanced mix of medicine and surgery, with the opportunity to tailor your caseload to your strengths and interests.

We offer a generous package including a salary up to £65,000 DOE, relocation up to £5,000 and a welcome bonus up to £5,000, plus a supportive team, flexible hours and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• A veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility) with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Practice Highlights

In 2018, we moved into a purpose-built hospital with excellent facilities, including

We see a great mix of well-insured clients who want the very best for their pets, alongside rewarding charity work with the RSPCA and other organisations. We are a two-site practice, with our main hospital in Woking and a sister branch in Chertsey.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Working Hours

We know that life outside of work matters. That is why we are happy to work with you to find a setup that fits. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome.

A typical full-time role is 40 hours per week worked across four days, with one in four Saturdays from 8am to 2pm.
