Veterinary Surgeon – West London
Are you a confident veterinary surgeon looking for a new challenge?
Our client, a well-established and RCVS-accredited small animal practice in a popular West London town, is seeking a dedicated vet to take on a client base and make it their own. You will have part-time support from an experienced senior vet while working in a friendly and well-equipped environment.
This first-opinion GP role offers between 35 to 40 hours per week, including a 1:3 branch Saturday and a 1:8 hospital Sunday. Additionally, you will be scheduled for one bank holiday per year at their sister hospital. There are no on-call requirements with this role.
You will be working alongside an experienced RVN, trainee nurses, and a highly supportive regional manager, with further clinical guidance available from a newly appointed regional head vet.
The practice is well-equipped with all the expected facilities, but it’s particularly suited for a vet with a surgical bias, as their previous vet specialised in orthopaedics. With dental X-ray available, it's also ideal for those with a keen interest in dentistry. More complex cases can be referred to their sister hospital, which provides full OOH support, advanced diagnostic tools including a state-of-the-art CT scanner, and access to a highly skilled team of specialists in imaging, medicine, and surgery.
Established in 1952, this practice is part of a larger group that has grown to include 46 branches, three flagship hospitals, and a dedicated nurse training college across Greater London. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a thriving, well-supported team and take the next step in your veterinary career.
