Work Schedule

The standard full‑time rota consists of a 40‑hour week across four days, including a Saturday morning on a 1:3 basis, with no out‑of‑hours duties. The working week will typically include a balanced mix of one surgical day, one consulting day and two blended days, although the ratio can be adjusted to match your interests.

Caseload & Acuity

Residents will engage in a varied caseload, including routine primary care, surgical procedures, and a selection of wildlife and exotic species ranging from hedgehogs and owls to reptiles and even the occasional baby dragon.

Facilities & Accreditations

Both premises are modern, light and recently refurbished, featuring two linked theatres at one site. They are fully equipped with digital X‑ray, a Vista scanner, in‑house blood analysers, ultrasound and dental radiography. The practice enjoys a Cat‑Friendly Silver status at both sites, a Silver RWAF, and Green Investors in the Environment accreditations.

Team

You will be joining a friendly team of five Vets supported by dedicated nursing and client‑care colleagues. Teamwork, continuity of care and a welcoming, sociable working environment are highly valued.
