A Veterinary recruitment agency is seeking a confident small animal Vet in England to join a supportive team in Stafford. This permanent position offers a flexible work schedule and a varied caseload including primary care and surgical procedures. Benefits include generous annual leave, relocation support, and professional development opportunities.
I’m excited to be working with my client in Stafford to offer a permanent position for a small animal Vet, with applications welcomed from both full‑time and part‑time candidates.
The standard full‑time rota consists of a 40‑hour week across four days, including a Saturday morning on a 1:3 basis, with no out‑of‑hours duties. The working week will typically include a balanced mix of one surgical day, one consulting day and two blended days, although the ratio can be adjusted to match your interests.
Residents will engage in a varied caseload, including routine primary care, surgical procedures, and a selection of wildlife and exotic species ranging from hedgehogs and owls to reptiles and even the occasional baby dragon.
Both premises are modern, light and recently refurbished, featuring two linked theatres at one site. They are fully equipped with digital X‑ray, a Vista scanner, in‑house blood analysers, ultrasound and dental radiography. The practice enjoys a Cat‑Friendly Silver status at both sites, a Silver RWAF, and Green Investors in the Environment accreditations.
You will be joining a friendly team of five Vets supported by dedicated nursing and client‑care colleagues. Teamwork, continuity of care and a welcoming, sociable working environment are highly valued.
We are looking for a confident small animal Vet who is comfortable with routine primary care and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. An interest in developing more advanced skills is encouraged, and the practice supports professional growth through extensive CPD opportunities.
