Overview

We are recruiting for a Vet Surgeon to join a growing small animal veterinary practice in Chelmsford, Essex.

Details

1. Full-time position, ideally 4 days a week, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota and no OOH; part-time hours may be considered.
2. Practice features include in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and multiparameter monitoring.
3. Caseload primarily dogs and cats, with some small furries and exotics.
4. Seeking a confident vet with routine medical and surgical skills, interested in career progression.
5. Support available for special interests.
6. Team comprises 3 vets, including a visiting certificate holder in small animal surgery (orthopaedics).
7. Benefits include CPD funding, paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS).
8. Located conveniently for Chelmsford city, with good transport links to London and Essex countryside/coast.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Registered with the RCVS
• Confident with routine consults and surgeries
