Job description

I’m working with the partner of a practice in Bedfordshire who is looking to welcome an experienced vet to the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable first-opinion Vet who enjoys variety in their caseload and wants to work within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care across a broad range of first-opinion cases, working closely with the wider clinical team to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Building strong relationships with clients will also be an important part of the role, with a focus on providing professional, compassionate advice and continuity of care.

This is a 40-hour working week spread across four days, with Fridays kept free. The role includes a 1-in-3 Saturday rota or alternatively a 1-in-6 full weekend rota. There will also be a shared contribution towards Bank Holiday cover.

The practice is looking for someone who is comfortable managing a varied first-opinion caseload and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. In return, the successful Vet will have the opportunity to develop their skills, contribute ideas and play an active role in the ongoing growth of the practice.
