Veterinary Surgeon – Swansea

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving, independent, award winning small animal practice in the stunning coastal city of Swansea! This RCVS accredited practice is renowned not only for its clinical excellence but also for its modern approach to animal healthcare, continuous improvement, and genuine team spirit. With a compassionate and fun loving team dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care, the practice fosters a workplace culture where both professionals and pets feel valued.

The successful candidate will be welcomed into a close knit team of 4 qualified veterinary nurses, 2 student nurses, a nursing assistant, and 4 friendly receptionists—all working in unison to ensure every patient receives gold standard care. With an emphasis on case continuity and detailed patient follow ups, the role involves a fulfilling mix of general medicine and surgery, supported by cutting edge tools including in-house biochemistry, haematology and endocrinology labs, and a companion laser therapy unit.

CPD and the development of special interests are not only supported—they are encouraged, with ample opportunity to pursue certifications and grow within the role. You'll be part of a practice that also proudly trains future veterinary nurses, highlighting its commitment to education and clinical advancement.
