Main duties of the job
We are recruiting a Registered Nurse for our busy Day Surgery Unit at Singleton Hospital. The role involves pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing various surgeries, including Orthopaedic, Plastic, and Ophthalmic. The work is fast-paced and mentally demanding, requiring independence and focus to ensure safe nurse-led discharges. The unit operates Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6 pm. The candidate must be adaptable to the evolving service environment.
