Summerwood Vets in Caerphilly is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal) on a part-time basis. You’ll work with a friendly team, delivering high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload while developing your clinical interests.

The role offers flexible part-time hours with fixed days or a rota, and no weekends or out-of-hours shifts. A veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility) are required, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal - Part Time

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.

The role offers flexibility with part-time hours, with no weekends or out-of-hours shifts. Typically our full time working week includes:

• Part time options covering 1-3 days a week
• Fixed days, or a rota to fit around your requirements
