Job summary

IVC Evidensia's Summerwood Vets in the UK is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon. The role offers flexible full or part-time hours with no weekends or out-of-hours shifts, supporting a balanced lifestyle while handling a varied and rewarding caseload.

You'll work with a collaborative team, develop clinical skills, and contribute to high-quality patient and client care while advancing your professional interests through CPD and mentorship.

• Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS (or eligibility to register).
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.

• Modern, spacious practice with four consult rooms
• Separate cat/dog areas, new cattery, theatre,
• Advanced equipment (laparoscopy, ultrasound, digital & dental x-ray, in-house lab)

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.

Role

The role offers flexible full or part-time hours, with no weekends or out-of-hours shifts. Typically our full time working week includes:

• Working hours 8:30am-6:30pm over four days, but we’re happy to discuss five shorter days
• Part time options covering 1-3 days a week
• Fixed days, or a rota to fit around your requirements
