Job description

Are you a vet looking to further your internal medicine and emergency work? Maybe you have an ECC or internal medicine certificate and are looking to put it to good use, or perhaps you are working towards a certificate and need a good caseload?

We are currently looking for a Hospital Vet to join our team at South Lincs Vet Group. This role focuses on hospital care of inpatients, emergency consults and admits, work ups and procedures, and handovers with the night vet. Handovers are at each end of the shift at 7am and 6.30pm. The rota is somewhat flexible but currently is a 4 day block Monday- Thursday every fortnight, migrated to a 3 day weekend block every 8 weeks. This role could be altered to 3 days per week. There is also the opportunity to pick up additional consulting or ops days to suit you in your 'off' week.

Experience and skill in emergency surgery is ideal, but as we have a team of skilled surgeons it might be possible to design the role for someone looking for a non surgical position
