The Rowe Veterinary group is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to work at our Bradley Stoke hospital on a 12-month Fixed term contract. The role involves all aspects of shift patterns, including consultations, inpatients, and surgeries at our busy 24/7 hospital in Bristol.
Our team emphasizes coaching and development, with many vets holding advanced qualifications. We support personal growth, including funding for certificates, and foster a collaborative culture where ideas are shared and support is provided. Several vets have certificates in medicine and surgery, with others working towards them. We also support new graduates and regularly host EMS students to give back to the veterinary community.
Our tier 3 RCVS-accredited hospital features digital X-ray, dental X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy, and more. We focus on clinical excellence and compassionate patient care. You will be part of a well-established team of over 30 Veterinary Surgeons, supported by experienced nurses and a dedicated support team.
Our practices include experienced vet and nurse teams, with opportunities for student veterinary nurses. Support staff and modern facilities—including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house labs—are available across our practices, which include a 24/7 hospital in Bristol.
We offer flexible rota patterns and working hours to promote work-life balance. Typical hours are three days from 8:30 AM to 7 PM and one shorter day from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with a four-day workweek and a flexible day off. Part-time applications are welcome, and we are happy to discuss rota arrangements.
