Island Veterinary Associates are looking for a dedicated GP Vet to join their team! The successful candidate will be given a well-balanced caseload of medicine and surgery. However, this role has the option to offer more of an emphasis on surgery, making it suitable for those with that clinical interest. The role will be based exclusively at our Bloxwich practice. We’re offering a welcome bonus of up to £5000 (pro rata) for new hires!
We accept both full/part-time applications. A full-time role involves working 40 hours across 4 days per week, on a shared rota with a fair shift pattern. You will be required to work 1:5 Saturday mornings. There are no out-of-hours duties, but inpatient care coverage may be needed.
We are a friendly, small animal practice located in the beautiful countryside near Cannock Chase, ideal for outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, or dog walking. We have excellent public transport links and rail access to anywhere in the UK. Our practice in Bloxwich is community-based with a diverse client base.
Our team, which has been together for many years, includes 1 RVN, 1 SVN, a dedicated receptionist, and 2 experienced VCAs. Our team members speak highly of our supportive environment and work-life balance.
