We are looking for a dedicated first opinion vet to work alongside eight other vets across our two busy practices, as part of a supportive, positive team. The successful candidate will be involved in all general veterinary duties, both medical and surgical. The team agrees that the successful vet needs to be an exceptional communicator with a strong customer focus.
Based in our Sleaford practice, the standard working pattern is a four‑day week with 10.5‑hour days but a flexible shift pattern can be agreed. Weekend cover will be 1:5 and there are no out‑of‑hours duties.
Across both sites we have a total team of eight veterinary surgeons, ten registered veterinary nurses, student veterinary nurses and veterinary care assistants, supported by a full team of reception, admin and finance staff. We have a certificate holder in cardiology and one of our vets is studying towards an ophthalmology certificate. The candidate will have a great opportunity to learn, be supported and be encouraged to fulfil their potential. We work closely with the RSPCA, CP and local wildlife and small animal charities.
We’re committed to supporting our people through career development opportunities, wellbeing initiatives and access to world‑class learning resources.
