We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team at Sanders Vets in Cwmbran. Whether you’re newly qualified, returning to practice after a break, or an experienced vet seeking a new challenge, we’re keen to hear from you.

A Role Tailored to Your Lifestyle

We value flexibility and understand that every vet’s needs are different. That’s why we’re open to:

*Full-time (4 days/week) with 2 days of ops and 2 days of consults - 6:30pm finish

*Part-time hours - flexible and family-friendly to suit your schedule

*Saturdays: 1 in 3 rota (9:00am - 12:00pm)

*No OOH and no bank holidays

*Option to pick up additional locum shifts at our OOH partner, Vets Now in Newport

*Just a 10-minute walk from Cwmbran train station and close to major bus routes

*20 minutes from Newport, 30 minutes from Cardiff

Sanders Vets is a modern, purpose-built practice with:

*4 consult rooms, including a dedicated discharge/euthanasia room

*Double operating theatre - ideal for new grads learning in theatre

*Spacious prep room

*Separate kennels and cattery

*Dental suite, imaging room (ultrasound, endoscope, X-ray)

*IDEXX in-house lab machines

*4 experienced Vets:

- Cert holders in Feline Medicine and Ophthalmology (in progress)

- Advanced Practitioner status

- Special interests in Cardiology and Diagnostic Ultrasound

*6 highly skilled RVNs:

- Certs in Veterinary Consulting, Feline Medicine, Anaesthesia

- Working towards Feline Behaviour certs

- One is a qualified Dog Trainer
