Are you a Veterinary Surgeon on the lookout for a new, independent team?

Looking to grow and develop as a surgeon, or help new graduates develop?

We are supporting an award-winning veterinary practice in Worcestershire to help facilitate their growth and add a new Veterinary Surgeon to their team.

The role will be a great mix of consulting and surgical time (minimum 1 / 2 days in theatres per week) to offer a good variety in your case load. We do still get your usual puppy parties and vaccinations to facilitate but are fortunate to get a good amount of complex medical and soft tissue cases in for those looking to learn more niche procedures.

Full time hours are 4 days a week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. We can organise around part time hours as well for those looking for more flexibility.

The practice was established just over 20 years ago and has become a significant player in the marketspace across Worcestershire and surrounding areas. With both Cat and Dog Friendly awards (and of course being RCVS accredited), this team prides themselves on the exceptional quality of care provided. 4 large consulting rooms house; full diagnostics suite with both Dental and Digital X-Rays plus ultrasound; large operating theatre and endoscopy equipment are just a handful of the fantastic facilities we use day to day.

What truly sets us apart from the competition is our team. You will join a team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons who are very well supported by nurses and support staff to help elevate your own career, and our presence in the sector. We are close-knit and organise plenty of team days out and really are part of the community.

Remuneration:

No matter what practice you join next, we know you’re conscious of the package. We are looking to offer up to circa £70,000 depending on experience and are happy to discuss salaries openly. Alongside, our new vet will get:

• Generous CPD allowance with certificate funding available.
• 6 weeks holiday, with bank holidays on top of this.
