Job summary

Vets4Pets in West Lancashire is seeking a General Practice Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing practice. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with a set shift pattern and no out-of-hours duties, supported by a strong nursing team and modern facilities.

You will continue to deliver high-standard care across a collaborative team, with opportunities to engage in varied procedures and client communication, in a practice that values relationships and work–life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Surgeon in a general practice.
• Ability to work 30–40 hours per week and participate in a 1 in 4 weekend rota.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care for companion animals.
• Collaborate with a team to support patient care and client communication.
• Adhere to clinic protocols and maintain patient records.
