Job summary

Leyland Vets for Pets in the North West of England are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, experienced team and help grow a busy, well‑established practice.

This role is 20–40 hours per week, with 4 days typical for full‑time and Saturdays 9am–1pm on a 1 in 5 rota; no OOH, Sundays or bank holidays. A supportive environment and opportunities to work with visiting specialists await.

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with local practice experience or new entrant with strong support.
• Ability to work within a busy, well-established team and follow clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care for small animals within the practice.
• Collaborate closely with RVNs and visiting specialists to broaden skills.
• Contribute to a positive wellbeing-focused work environment and professional growth.
