Vets for Pets is seeking a General Practice Veterinary Surgeon in West Lancashire, UK, offering 30-40 hours per week with no out-of-hours work. You’ll join an experienced team dedicated to high standards of care, client relationships, and collaborative decision making.

The role supports work-life balance with flexible full/part-time options and a comprehensive benefits package. Location: L40 8AD and surrounding area.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who values relationships and enjoys being part of a team.
• You’ll join an experienced vet team and will be supported to build confidence and develop your skills.
• You’ll have a positive, methodical approach and be able to manage time and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Open to full or part time options and flexible rota.
• Set shift pattern including 1 in 4 weekends sole charge, with some weekday rota flexibility.
• Practice hours: Weekdays 08:30-19:30, Saturday 09:00-16:00, Sunday 10:00-16:00.
• No out of hours care (covered by a local 24 hour hospital).
