Job summary

Blacks Vets, part of the Linnaeus network, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who holds a certificate in Surgery or Medicine to join our close-knit team in the West Midlands. You will cover first-opinion cases with a focus on clinical excellence and high standards of patient and client care.

RCVS registered candidates with mentoring ability and strong communication will thrive here, with a supportive nursing team, 40-hour weeks, 1:10 weekend rota, and generous CPD and relocation

Qualifications

RCVS registered with extensive veterinary experience.
Broad first-opinion case experience.
Mentoring in surgical or medical workflows.
Strong communication with empathy and confidence.
Team-focused with high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

Provide high-standard care across first-opinion cases.
Mentor colleagues in surgical/medical workflows.
Collaborate with team to maintain clinical excellence.
Explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to clients.
