Introduction

Our client is a corporately owned, RCVS-accredited practice in Cornwall seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and inclusive small animal team. This is an ideal opportunity for a vet looking for a supportive working environment and a great work-life balance.

Working Hours / Rota

Permanent role with flexible full-time or part-time hours available

1 in 3 Saturday mornings

No out-of-hours

Role Description

This role offers a balanced mix of consultations and surgery, with 15-minute appointments as standard and the option for extended consultations for more complex cases. Operating responsibilities are typically assigned to a designated vet each day, ensuring efficient use of time and clear structure. Emergency and buffer slots are built into the day to manage workflow effectively.

The successful candidate will work in a recently refurbished, modern practice alongside a dedicated team led by an experienced clinical director with a surgery certificate. There is a strong emphasis on team collaboration, regular case discussions, and clinical meetings to promote continuous learning and support.

Team Size

The practice is led by an experienced clinical director and supported by a committed team of registered veterinary nurses, client care advisors, and a practice manager. Many members of the team have been with the practice for several years, fostering a close-knit and welcoming environment.
