Job Description

Introduction

Our Client is a corporately owned practice located in Oakengates, Telford, offering a friendly, supportive environment with excellent local amenities including shopping, bars, restaurants, and convenient proximity to Liverpool Airport.

Working Hours / Rota

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, including a 1 in 3 Saturday rota.

Role Description

The Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care during consultations and surgical procedures, managing patient care plans, mentoring and developing team members, and maintaining professional excellence. You will collaborate with colleagues across practices, contributing to and promoting best practices within the wider clinical community.

Team Size

You will join a supportive team that includes a Branch Partner, a nursing team of 4 (including an HRVN), and a receptionist.

Practice Details

The practice is ideally situated in Oakengates, Telford, providing easy access to local amenities, leisure facilities, and transport links, including proximity to Liverpool Airport.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with excellent clinical and client care skills. Experience in team leadership, supporting nurse consults, schedule 3 procedures, and implementing a progressive clinical culture is desirable. Strong mentoring and influencing skills are essential.
