Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. This award-winning, RCVS-accredited practice also holds silver cat-friendly status and RWAF accreditation. With consistent growth and a variety of surgical and medical cases, the practice offers an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team led by long-standing practice owners.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position
Shift patterns: 9am–5pm or 11am–7pm
1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–5pm)
No OOH required
Flexibility in working patterns will be considered
20-minute consults with the last appointment at 6:30pm
Admin time, tea breaks, and protected lunch breaks are scheduled into the day

Role Description
The successful candidate will manage a wide range of general practice duties in a well-equipped clinical setting. Duties will include consultations, surgeries, and medical workups. The team values efficient workflows, and there is time built in for admin and breaks. The role is best suited to an experienced vet comfortable with sole charge, who is a confident communicator and collaborative team player. Certificate study and individual development are actively encouraged.

Team Size
The team includes two Practice Owners – one Vet and one RVN – supported by an experienced Practice Manager, another Veterinary Surgeon, a strong nursing team, one Veterinary Care Assistant, and three Client Care Advisors. Mental health support is present onsite through a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Practice Details
Located within a Pets at Home store, the modern, purpose-built practice is equipped with all the tools expected in first opinion work, including a Cryopen for cryotherapy. The practice is well-positioned near Birmingham and Coventry with excellent public transport and road links, as well as direct train access to London in under an hour.
