Job summary

Medivet Heaton Chapel is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for an initial 3-month fixed-term contract with potential to extend. The role offers a 4-day week (9am–7pm), 40 hours, and a 1 in 6 weekend rota, within a small, supportive team. You will manage a varied caseload, balancing consultations and surgery while developing your clinical skills.

You’ll join a recently refurbished clinic with a collaborative environment and opportunities to contribute to practice growth and community development.

About the roleThis is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, friendly team where you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with both your colleagues and clients.You'll enjoy a varied caseload, with a good balance of consultations and surgical work, allowing you to make the most of your clinical skills while continuing to develop your experience.The role is 40 hours per week across 4 days, 9am - 19:00, with a 1 in 6 weekend rota, giving you a great balance between work and your life outside the practice.
