Job summary

Market Hall Veterinary Centre in St Clears, Carmarthenshire, Wales, is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon for two sites. The role is permanent and part-time (3.5 days, ~31 hours, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and TOIL). A competitive salary is offered up to £65,000 FTE DOE.

The post involves consulting and surgical work with OOH covered by MiNight at Carmarthen Veterinary Hospital. CVS supports growth with learning and mentoring.

Market Hall Veterinary Centre - St Clears

Location: St Clears, Carmarthenshire, Wales

Contract: Permanent, Part time (3.5 days, approx. 31 hours incl. 1 in 4 Saturday mornings with TOIL)

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team, working across two well equipped sites in St. Clears and Kilgetty. Our OOH is covered by MiNight at Carmarthen Veterinary Hospital. The role will involve a varied mix of consulting and surgical work.

Life at Market Hall Veterinary Centre

Market Hall Veterinary Centre is a small animal practice with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. Our facilities are fully up to date and include dental X-ray, static X-ray, ultrasound/doppler, endoscopy and ophthalmic equipment giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. We pride ourselves on our friendly and collaborative environment where everyone is supported in providing the best possible care to animals.

We are an accredited Dogs Trusts scheme dog-friendly practice and a Silver Cat Friendly Clinic, with separate dog and cat wards. We pride ourselves on our friendly, collaborative and close‑knit team culture, with a strong focus on wellbeing, socialising and supporting one another.
