Job summary

CVS Group UK is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for Camlas Veterinary Centre in Welshpool. The role is permanent but part-time, with 11 hours on Mondays and a 1 in 5 Saturday rota. No out-of-hours work, and accommodation may be available.

Veterinary Surgeon – Camlas Veterinary Centre – Welshpool

Contract: Part-time | 11 hours a week (Mondays Only) | No OOH

Practice Type: First Opinion, Small Animal

Competitive Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience

Camlas Veterinary Centre offers the opportunity to be a part of a genuinely supportive and well‑established practice in the heart of Mid Wales. Our facilities include access to laparoscopic surgery equipment, dental x‑ray, digital x‑ray, in‑house lab, and ultrasound giving you everything you need to deliver outstanding clinical care. Clinical development is encouraged, with experienced certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology within the team, providing opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The role is permanent role working 11 hours on a Monday with a share in the 1 in 5 Saturday rota. There are no out of hours. There is accommodation available if needed. The role is within suitable commuting distance from Newtown, Oswestry, Llanfair Caereinion, Barmouth, Aberystwyth, and surrounding locations.
