• You will join the practice at an exciting time after just undergoing a refurbishment.
• The practice is a staple of the local community, providing fantastic care for its clients and their furry friends.
• No OOH or Sundays, and Saturday mornings are worked on a 1 in 4 basis.
• You will ideally be a good all-rounder, and your development will be encouraged and supported.
• You will have the same day off weekly to support your other commitments.
• Excellent location with great public transport links.
• Salary up to £60,000 per annum (FTE, DOE).

About the role:

With the added benefit of no OOH and no Sundays, this position can be flexed around your priorities. Working patterns are adaptable, whether around childcare, study, certificates, or wellbeing. We recognize and respect individual needs while focusing on providing the best clinical care. A 4-day workweek with the same day off each week is proposed, but negotiable. Working 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9-12.30pm) is part of the rota.

Located on Marton Road, Middlesbrough, our practice offers excellent transport links and a vibrant city life close to rural areas, the North York Moors, and beaches.

Established and partner-owned for 15 years, our practice handles a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases, equipped with otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, tonopen, microscopy, glucometer, digital and dental radiography, in-house catalyst, Lasercyte, Sedivue, ultrasound, and orthopedic equipment. Time is allocated for admin and client prescriptions, crucial for providing quality service.

Many clients are insured, and we offer financial assistance via Klarna & Omnicapital, plus a PDSA nearby for eligible clients. We have excellent rapport with three world-class referral centers within an hour’s drive.

You will join an established team led by Katherine Goldsbrough MRCVS, including 3 vets, 5 nurses, 3 schedule 3 staff, 2 student nurses, supported by 4 Client Care Advisors.
