Are you seeking a rewarding veterinary role where no two days are the same—and the scenery takes your breath away? I have just the opportunity for you.
I am working with a highly respected, RCVS-accredited mixed animal practice in the vibrant market town of Northallerton, North Yorkshire. This well-established practice is on the lookout for a passionate Mixed Vet to join their close-knit and experienced team.
You'll enjoy a genuinely varied caseload—approximately 75% small animal and 25% large animal—with the added bonus of contributing to export work one day a week. There’s also scope to be involved in equine and exotic pet care, offering great diversity to your working week. Hands-on large animal experience is essential, and if you have export experience, that’s a big plus—though training can be provided for the right candidate.
Equipped with cutting-edge tech including ECG, ultrasound, orthopaedic theatre, digital X-ray, and an in-house lab, this practice is well-prepared to support top-tier clinical care. You’ll be joining a welcoming and supportive team including a Lead Vet, two other experienced vets, and a full nursing and support crew who truly enjoy what they do.
This full-time role offers a great work-life balance with a 4-day week (8:00–18:00), no weekends, and no on-call. Prefer part-time? No problem—our client is open to flexible working and happy to discuss what works best for you.
Set in the heart of North Yorkshire, Northallerton offers a unique mix of traditional charm and outdoor adventure. Wander through independent shops and cafés, take in the historic market, and explore the spectacular North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales—right on your doorstep.
If you're ready for a new challenge in a beautiful rural location, with a team that values quality care and camaraderie, get in touch today for a friendly, informal chat.
