The Package
Our Client is a corporately owned practice seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to work across two established GP sites in Cheshire. This is a varied and autonomous role with scope for clinical input and mentoring, supported by an experienced team and wider network.
The full-time rota is 4 to 4.5 days per week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays, 1 in 12 Sundays, and a small number of bank holidays. Weekend and bank holiday shifts take place at a nearby hospital site, with TOIL provided in return.
The role includes a mix of consultations, medical cases, and general surgical procedures across both practices. There is opportunity to contribute to clinical development and mentor less experienced team members, making Vet GDP Advisor status beneficial. The successful candidate will work with an experienced support team and have access to referral-level guidance through the wider group.
This practice operates with a team of 2 Vets, supported by a graduate Vet, a dual-site Clinical Director, and access to a wider clinical network.
Both sites are located in Cheshire and operate as part of a larger veterinary group. The practices are equipped with modern consulting and surgical facilities, diagnostic equipment, and have access to in-house referral services and outsourced OOH provision.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon confident in small animal medicine and surgery. They should enjoy the variety of working across two sites and bring a collaborative approach. Vet GDP Advisor status is desirable but not required.
