About The Role

Due to our success in 2024 following our transition from Corporate to Independent, we now have a position available for a progressive and exceptional veterinary surgeon within our day team at Iffley Vets in Oxford.

Our team has been carefully assembled over the past 18 months, including specialists in orthopaedics, internal medicine, imaging, endo surgery, experienced general practitioners, and more.

• Our rota offers a great work-life balance - a 4-day week is our full-time standard! We can also offer a 3-day week if preferred.
• Parking is available just behind the practice.
• Salary up to £75,000, depending on experience.
• We have invested in state-of-the-art equipment, including Karl Storz towers, advanced imaging on-site, a full orthopaedic theatre, laser therapy, dental X-ray, and much more!

We will soon be offering full 24/7 care to our pets through subscribing surgeries, supported by our extensive new equipment and facilities. It’s been an expensive but worthwhile year!

Our rota and CPD offerings are generous, with a busy hospital caseload. We appreciate the need for a shorter week following a 1 in 4 weekend rota, so we ask for a commitment of 2 working days per week.

As a valued veterinary surgeon, your goal will be to progress as far as you wish, supported by our experienced senior management team. With over 80 years of combined experience working with excellent and growing GP teams, we are confident our support will help you develop your career.
