Medivet Battersea is a purpose-built practice situated in beautiful West London. Let me paint you a picture!

A large, welcoming reception area managed by our dedicated client care team, with three good sized consult rooms.

Back of house, we have a fantastic open plan layout, two very swish and modern theatres allowing our colleagues to observe procedures with ease, separate cat / dog waiting areas and kennels, providing the optimal environment for our patients during their visit.

We have everything we need to provide exceptional care including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, blood pressure machine, ECG, full-lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser.

Our clients are dedicated to their pets and we are lucky enough to be able to work-up cases thoroughly! We see a mix of consult, inpatient and surgical cases including advanced surgeries, with access to endoscopy and advanced diagnostics including CT Imaging and VVS Station nearby at Medivet Camberwell 24-Hour.

You'll be working alongside an experienced 3-vet team with a fantastic support team and Practice Manager to ensure our team can focus on doing what they love!

In This Role You Will

• Deliver exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures.
• Provide exceptional care to your clients, giving clear updates on patients.
• Deliver professional excellence, observing the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance.
• Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates.
• Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way.
• Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care.
• Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
• Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
• Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
• Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
• Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
• Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
