Vets Now in High Wycombe is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our ECC team. You will work within an experienced, supportive clinic, handling a varied emergency caseload and benefiting from mentorship and a strong professional network.

High Wycombe – Veterinary Surgeon

Up to £85,000 DOE pro rata plus benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our professional team within our High Wycombe clinic.

In this role you will work with a team who are passionate about progressing in the world of emergency and critical care, where you will benefit from a good support network and mentorship.

This role offers a varied caseload, where working as an emergency Vet Surgeon will expose you to an excellent number of interesting cases, which you simply won’t see in general practice.

Working out-of-hours doesn’t mean working all hours

In this role the rota will typically include the following, on a four week rolling rota, and will also include a share of bank holidays/additional shifts to be picked up in line with a full-time role:

• Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 19:00-09:00
• Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 19:00-09:00
• Week 3: Monday and Tuesday 19:00-09:00 and Saturday 12:00-19:30 and Sunday 08:30-19:30
• Week 4: Monday and Tuesday 19:00-09:00

Full-time at Vets Now includes working an average of 40 hours per week/average 3 shifts per week, which includes weeknight shifts and 1:2 weekends (days/nights), plus a fair share of bank holidays.

As with any role within Vets Now we appreciate that one size doesn’t fit all. Finding the right work/life balance for you is our priority, so we are happy to also consider this role on part-time basis.
