About the practice

Although relatively young, this independent practice has quickly established an excellent reputation within the local community, with a loyal client base who trust the team to look after their pets.

The practice is well equipped with modern veterinary technology, including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities, giving you access to the tools you need to work to a high clinical standard.

You’ll work alongside an experienced Vet with over 10 years’ experience and a particular interest in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, as well as a friendly and supportive nursing and support team.

Whether you are an experienced Vet looking for a new challenge or a less experienced Vet wanting to develop your skills within a supportive environment, you’ll be made to feel very welcome.

The role

The practice is ideally looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with at least one year’s postgraduate experience, although less experienced Vets will also be considered.

You should be comfortable with routine small animal consultations and surgery and ideally have some experience of working in sole charge. Most importantly, you’ll be a good communicator who enjoys building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

The role offers:

• Salary: up to £80,000 DOE
• Working hours: 9:00am – 6:30pm
• No OOH
• No bank holidays
