Job description

We are looking for experienced Veterinary Surgeons to join us here at West End Vets. You will join an established practice with many loyal clients, varied cases, and the chance to develop your specific areas of interest. This role offers a salary up to £60k FTE, depending on experience, plus benefits. We are looking for someone to work 30 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our small animal practices. You'll be joining a dedicated, experienced team that offers the chance to work with a range of experience levels from Graduates to seasoned Vets.

There is a strong leadership structure supporting all aspects of daily veterinary life. Our diary setup prioritizes wellbeing, enabling us to perform effectively without compromising on time.

West End Vets was established in the 1950s. We have two small animal practices in Tollcross and Morningside in the historic city of Edinburgh.

Our friendly and experienced veterinary team provides high-quality veterinary care, surgery, and treatment, including regular check-ups and routine procedures.

We have separate waiting rooms and wards for dogs and cats.

Supported by modern facilities and specialist equipment, our team offers various services to our clients, emphasizing routine care and check-ups.

We are passionate about animal care, treating pets as family members, and ensuring our team shares this commitment.

Salary and Hours:

This position involves 30 hours per week. Our practice hours are Monday to Friday 08:15 to 18:00 and Saturdays 08:30 to 12:00. Out-of-hours support is provided by Vets Now Edinburgh.

The salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
