Job summary

AXA in Cardiff, Wales is seeking an Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon for a part-time role at a private hospital. You will handle urgent and critical cases in a well-supported team, with a predictable rota and emphasis on wellbeing and work-life balance.

You will work alongside experienced clinicians with access to advanced facilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and orthopaedics. The role includes mentoring Veterinary Students and contributing to high-quality welfare-led care

Working within a collaborative and experienced team, you'll have access to excellent facilities, strong clinical support and the opportunity to mentor Veterinary Students in a real-world ECC setting. There are no routine booked appointments, allowing you to focus entirely on urgent and critical cases while delivering high-quality, welfare-led care.

  • 33.41 hours per week - A typical working pattern will look like the below
  • Week 1: 7:45 to 08:15 every night Monday to Sunday | Week 2: Off | Week 3: Off
