Life atKnox and Devlin Veterinary Centre

This role is full-time, working 40 hours across 4 or 5 days – just let us know what works for you! There is a 1 in 5 Saturday morning shift, but no OOH work required. The role would be a split between ops and consults, but would suit someone who has a surgical interest.
Knox & Devlin Veterinary Centre are offering a fantastic opportunity for a surgically minded vet to develop their interests within a supportive and flexile practice that are happy to tailor their caseloads to individual strengths and career aspirations. Located in the beautiful town of Whaley Bridge on the edge of the Peak District, with direct rail links to Manchester just a short walk away, the practice has stunning countryside surroundings with excellent commuter access.

Serving a loyal client base in an affluent area, the practice is always looking for ways to enhance their services to reflect their growth and investment in the future. Supported by a collaborative team of 5 vets, 5 nurses, and a PCA, including a vet currently undertaking a certificate in dermatology, the practice fosters a genuinely supportive culture where wellbeing, development, and teamwork are highly valued.

As an RCVS-accredited General Practice, we are committed to delivering high standards of patient care while actively supporting CPD and certificate study. Our facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental radiography, diathermy equipment, and separate dog and car wards, with plans to further expand clinical capabilities as the practice continues to grow.
