We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Regan Veterinary Group.

Location: Holly House site - Wigan

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday with shifts either 08:00 - 16:00 or 11:00 - 19:00, with a 1:4 share in the Saturday rota

About the role:

Day-to-day duties include:

  1. Answering phones and booking appointments
  2. Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
  3. Registering new clients
  4. Completing insurance forms
  5. Dispensing medications
  6. Taking payments
  7. Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is a plus
  • Resilient, able to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
  • Excellent communicator with strong empathy
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with the public
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database systems
