Job summary

inspiring vet care’s Wellpets practice is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join the team on a part-time fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience.

You’ll manage appointments, handle enquiries, support client communications and work closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth patient and client journey.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Wellpets on a part-time fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

We are a growing small animal practice with two well-equipped sites and a close-knit team that takes pride in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Every team member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our vets bring a wealth of experience, working alongside dedicated veterinary nurses and support staff who share a strong commitment to animal welfare. We prioritise open communication and teamwork, ensuring that everyone’s voice is valued.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

This is a part-time role working 22 hours per week Mon‑Sat, no bank holidays or out of hours.

The role will include welcoming patients and clients, making appointments, telephone enquiries, taking payments and further administrative tasks. This exciting role would give huge job satisfaction to a highly motivated and organised individual, who can deliver outstanding customer service.
