Linnaeus Veterinary Limited in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to warmly welcome clients and their pets and provide essential support to a busy team. The role focuses on diary management, appointment bookings, and patient care coordination at Avonvale vets.

This part-time, permanent position requires prior reception experience; funded training including BVRA courses is offered to help you grow within the role and appliance to a welcoming team.

Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon

Salary: £26,701 pro rated to £17,522.53 per annum

Job Type: Part Time - Permanent

Hours: 26.25 hours Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Hours are between 8:15am-6pm or 9:15-7pm, with 1 in 12 Saturdays at our Warwick branch (08:30-5:30pm).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist with Avonvale vets in Stratford upon Avon! We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team. This is a busy and varied role so previous experience in a reception role is essential. Ideal applicants will want to grow within the role, and we offer funded training, including courses with the BVRA, to support this.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner
• Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures
• Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone
• Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly
• Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc
• Processing prescription requests
• Taking payments
• Promoting offers and services
• Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked
